AzerothCore vs TrinityCore
AzerothCore (AC) is recommended for new 3.3.5a projects in 2026. TrinityCore (TC) suits teams with existing TC modules. Both target build 12340.
1. Database
Create acore_auth, acore_characters, acore_world. Import data/sql/base/ then data/sql/updates/.
2. Clone & compile
git clone https://github.com/azerothcore/azerothcore-wotlk.git — build authserver and worldserver.
3. Extract maps/vmaps/mmaps
Run extractors on client 3.3.5.12340. Copy dbc, maps, vmaps, mmaps to DataDir.
8. List on RealmRanking
List your stable realm on RealmRanking with accurate rates and tags.
